EEDA the East of England Development Agency has commissioned North East England based consultants Tourism UK Ltd to prepare a strategy which will enable the region to develop its share of the growing business tourism market. Director of Tourism UK Ltd, Kevin Kaley, said," we are delighted to have been selected, ahead of some stiff competition, to prepare this strategy for the East of England. Waterfalls Development Planning Application Rejected In a very disappointing turn around county councilors in Northumberland have gone against the advice of their planning officers and have refused planning consent for the development which would have seen a high quality tourism development including holiday lodges being developed in Northumberland. Tourism UK prepared the business plan, a tourism supporting statement and an economic impact assessment as well as providing planning support.
