Project Management
Kevin’s skills as as a project manager come from his experience in economic development, hospitality management and years of helping clients deliver development plans. In recent years Kevin has been asked to draw on his knowledge and understanding of heritage and National Lottery Heritage Fund processes to support both the development and delivery phases of numerous projects. These have included a round 1 and successful round 2 application for All Saints’ Church North Road York, where the project saw the conservation of its unique medieval glass windows and a round 1 and successful round 2 application for £3.2M for the Darlington Rail Heritage Quarter, now reopened as Hopetown Darlington. Kevin is currently also retained by Ripon Museums Trust to manage their development phase process for a £2.6M NLHF grant towards a £3.3M project. On the darlington project Kevin also secured £150k from the arts Council followed by a further £750k for the bicentenary festival and a further £250k from NLHF for digital way finding. On the Ripon Project Kevin also secured £260k from UKSPF and £150k from the Wolfson foundation.
